Best. One-sheet. Ever.
Usually when I see a stark white background on a movie one-sheet I think “Wow, I didn’t know New Regency had a new movie coming out. Wonder how bad it’ll suck?” But I have to give props to whoever it was that designed the poster below, which is definitely NOT a New Regency movie (you can tell because it isn’t one of Seltzer/Friedberg’s parody abominations, meaning it might actually be funny).

Know what that says to me? CLASS. Pure class. Okay, maybe not the best one-sheet EVER, but it made me har-har and at least it isn’t the typical Photoshop menagerie of stupid actors’ faces that tells me nothing about the movie other than the fact that it stars that douchebag from that show that I hate.
Anyway, College is a raunchy teen comedy in the vein of classic teen comedies of ye olden 1980’s according to our friends at /Film, was directed by Deb Hagan (whose only other credit on imdb was a short called Pee Shy) and will be released next month care of MGM. I hope it’s funny, and I hope it makes money, because frankly I’m getting sick of every damn comedy bearing the mark of ApatowRogenFerrell Inc. Yeah, yeah, fat Jewish guy in an afro, funny funny. But can’t we give gay black dude another shot, or horny Asian guy, or nerdy chick who takes off her glasses and suddenly she’s really hot, or Curtis friggin’ Armstrong? Because I miss them.
