Gina Gershon thinks Bill Clinton is finger licking good…
Actress Gina Gershon is demanding a retraction from Vanity Fair magazine after they reported that President Bill Clinton “had been seen visiting” her in California citing “high-end Hollywood dinner party gossip” as the source.
Gershon’s lawyers and her publicist (Mara Buxbaum - a partner at ID Public Relations) claim that Vanity Fair journalist Todd Purdum’s insinuations are lies and “irresponsible journalism” - a tough and hard line and Buxbaum says that “we are demanding a retraction.”
The letter from Gershon’s lawyers can be found here.
Gershon, an actress who appeared in “Showgirls” and “P.S. I Love You” and President Clinton were both outraged and offended by the article. Turns out it was written by Todd Purdum who is married to former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Meyers and he’s defending his article on CNN’s “The Situation Room” saying that he was “”very careful to say there is no clear-cut evidence that President Clinton has done anything improper.” Adding:
“I reject the notion that I’m making an insinuation. But I’m very comfortable quoting the people I quote because I know who they are, and I know that they are very senior people who have known President Clinton for a very long time and work for him at very high levels.”
Where there’s smoke, there must be fire. And we all know Clinton’s penchant for sexy brunettes…. (OK fine, he likes anything with a vagina, but you know what I mean…)

57-year-old actor Bill Murray and wife Jennifer Butler Murray are divorcing after 11 years of marriage.
Murray’s wife Jennifer alleges that Bill abuses alcohol and is addicted to marijuana.
The actor, star of “Lost in Translation” “Rushmore” and “Ghostbusters” issued a statement through his attorney stating that he was “deeply saddened by the break-up of his marriage”.
The divorce complaint also alleges that Bill Murray would often leave home without telling his wife, traveling overseas to engage in “public and private altercations and sexual liaisons”.
Bill Murray was married previously before marrying Butler, a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor in 1997. They worked on the films “Scrooged” “Groundhog Day” “What About Bob” and “Ghostbusters II” together.
Despite signing a prenuptial agreement before they married, Murray has agreed to pay his ex-wife $7 million within 60 days of a final divorce.

At first Uma must have thought Bruce Willis was her stalker…
A celebrity-obsessed loner “terrified” Uma Thurman by flooding the actress with phone calls, e-mails and by ringing her front door-bell at all hours and threatening to kill himself if he couldn’t meet her said New York prosecutor Jessica Taub in her closing arguments today.Taub continued by saying: “
“This isn’t about love for Uma Thurman… This is about self-absorption.”
Jack Jordan, a 37-year-old man is on trial for charges of stalking and aggravated harassment; he faces up to a year in jail if convicted. Jurors deliberate today and are expected to issue a verdict tomorrow morning.
Defense lawyer George Vomvolakis conceded that defendant Jack Jordan was obsessive but said that his client did not have the criminal intent to scare Uma Thurman.
Vomvolakis said:
“He’s trying to get to the woman he loves — although it’s an obsession — in the hope that she will love him back… Jack Jordan is not charged with obsession. Obsession is not a crime.”
During the Manhattan filming of box-office flop “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” Thurman was delivered a card by Jordan at her trailer. The card was of a drawing of an open grave, a headstone and a man standing on the edge of a razor blade. A spiral of random words referred to “chocolate, mouth, soft, kissing” and declared, “My hands should be on your body at all times.” (Sounds like sweet poetry to these ears…)
38-year-old Thurman says she was “Completely freaked out… It was almost like a nightmare. It was scary.”
Jordan, who lives with his parents (surprise, surprise) in Gaithersburg, Md., is an out-of-work lifeguard who was living in his car at the time of his arrest last year.

45-year-old movie action star and my personal hero Wesley Snipes is being chased by US prosecutors who insist he should spend three years behind bars and be fined $5 million in fines for tax evasion.
The actor was found guilty in February of failing to submit his tax returns (It’s April 15 - Tax Day, so be reminded people!) but he was cleared of the more serious charges including fraud.
Now prosecutors are reccomending that Snipes face the maximum penalty for a “brazen defiance” of United States taxation laws.
The jerk-off US Attorney named Robert O’Neill has pressed for the heavy penalty because the case provided a “singular opportunity” to “deter tax crime nationwide”. (another good reason to make this announcement on April 15th…)
