Disney hearts Johnny Depp
Go out and buy yourself some Disney stock today. The mouse-house has landed Johnny Depp for three huge upcoming films…
Johnny Depp will appear in the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer adaptation of “The Lone Ranger” created by George W. Trendle. It appears that Depp will play Native American sidekick ‘Tonto’ (which in Spanish translates to “stupid” in case you were wondering. Writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio have been working on the script and there is no release date set yet.
Depp will also play ‘The Madd Hatter’ in director Tim Burton’s 3-D live-action/computer animated adaptation of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and lastly, but not least it was announced by Disney Chairman Richard Cook that Depp will also return for “Pirates of the Caribbean 4“
