Katie Holmes makes Broadway debut, next stop Planet Xenu…
Cheered on by her husband Tom Cruise, 29-year-old actress Katie Holmes made her Broadway debut Thursday in the Arthur Miller classic “All My Sons” alongside veteran actors John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.
The New York Daily News praised Holmes’ performance and husband Tom Cruise said that “she was extraordinary.”
“All My Sons” is playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater and prior to the performance, about 20 protesters appeared masked in front of the theater chanting “Scientology is a cult” and “Free Katie” in a response to the fact that Holmes is married to one of the best known members of the Church of Scientology.
