MacKenzie Phillips = Arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Heroin
48-year-old Actress MacKenzie Phillips was arrested for possession of cocaine and heroin by Los Angeles airport police.
Los Angeles Airport Police Sgt. Jim Holcomb said:
“During a secondary screening process she was found in possession of what appeared to about a small amount of heroin and cocaine. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and transported to the airport station.”
Phillips, who has spoken publicly about her drug problems, first gained attention for her role in the George Lucas film “American Graffiti,” in 1973. Later she starred in “One Day at a Time,” and in the 1990’s she played a high school drug counselor on the Fox show “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
Phillips is the daughter of the late John Phillips of The Mamas & The Papas and the half-sister of singer Chynna Phillips and actress Bijou Phillips.

Not everything equals something. For example, nouns can’t equal verbs. MacKenzie Phillips might equal crackhead, but she can’t equal an action that was done to her.

i’m going to preface this by saying JC does make a good point about frivolous equal signage (and has the same initials as Jesus). however, sir, on the subject of functionality, you’re totally ignoring the equal sign itself. maybe a noun is greater or less than the subsequent verb, but the equal sign is used to bridge that gap and act as a witty reference to the noun’s current state of affairs. basically, you’re neglecting the visual relevance of =.
