Miwaukee unveils statue of ‘The Fonz’

Actor Henry Winkler who originated the character of ‘The Fonz’ on “Happy Days” poses with his sons Max Winkler, second left, and Jed Weitzman as they stand with a bronze statue of character Arthur Fonzarelli, also known as ‘The Fonz.’
The character is now immortalized in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At the unveiling, dozens of people lined the downtown area and cheered.
Henry Winkler, in typical ‘Fonzie’ awesomeness stroked his hair, smiled and gave his signature two thumbs up.
Most of the “Happy Days” cast was on hand along with show creator Garry Marshall, his sister Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams (who went on to star in spin-off “Laverne & Shirley”.)
