Is an Actors strike looming?

Actors are by and large a punch of whiny little pussies.
This is a stated and known fact.
This is why, when the members of AFTRA (American Federation of Television & Radio Artists) who recently ratified the AFTRA primetime deal, caused a pussy-sore for SAG (Screen Actors Guild) which is actively campaigning to shoot down the contract offerred to them by the studios.
AFTRA said 62% of those voting supported the deal. Why can’t actors just get along?
This is no surprise to me - with a shitty economy and the lingering and costly impact of this year’s 100-day Writer’s Guild Strike - the ball is in SAG’s court now to avoid ruining Hollywood and the economy of Southern California.
You selfish little actor bastards! Just take some prozac, drink a shot of whiskey and sign it! It’s not like any of you work anyhow? And those who do - don’t need the money. It’s as simple as that…
Alec Baldwin, Sally Field, Tom Hanks and Susan Sarandon backed the AFTRA deal while Viggo Mortensen, Jack Nicholson, Nick Nolte and Martin Sheen endorsed SAG’s anti-AFTRA stance. (It should be noted that Tom Hanks currently produces shows that are on-air and Alec Baldwin and Sally Field star in shows that are on network TV, Nick Nolte, Martin Sheen and Jack Nicholson can all be found drinking a bottle of Jager at the Bel Air Country Club currently…)
(AMPTP) The Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers broke off negotiations by delivering the final offer on June 30, a few hours before SAG’s feature-primetime contract expired. Actors have been working since on some TV programs under terms of the expired deal; SAG’s also granted waivers to over 355 indie features.
The AMPTP announced Tuesday morning that the meeting with SAG had been set and added, “The Producers remain hopeful that SAG will accept our final offer.”
SAG had contended that actors deserve sweeter terms in areas such as new media, DVD residuals and salary minimums. AFTRA argued that approval will put the industry back to work and that the deal includes gains in salaries and new media without rollbacks or concessions
