Tim Russert = Dead
Tim Russert, NBC journalist and host of “Meet the Press” collapsed at the NBC offices Friday and died of an apparent heart attack.
He was 58 and according to a fire official who were dispatched to NBC studios in New York at 1:41 p.m.
NBC’s Tom Brokaw says Russert’s wife and son, Luke, were in Italy at the time, celebrating Luke’s graduation from Boston College.
Brokaw said:
“He has been a very familiar face on this network and throughout the world of political journalism as one of the premier political analysts and journalists of his time. Tim loved his family, his faith, his country, politics, he loved the Buffalo Bills, the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals.”
