Wayne McClammy to direct “Cool School” – Are you F*cking Kidding me?
Are you F*cking kidding me?
Another Hollywood injustice has just occurred. Sure, we are huge fans of Jimmy Kimmel and we even posted both “I’m F*cking Matt Damon” and “I’m F*cking Ben Affleck” videos on the website, but hiring the director of this vids to direct a feature is a little bit overboard, don’t you think?
I mean the guy’s name is Wayne McClammy. Is that even a real name? Doesn’t sound like it to me…
And sure, it was 20th Century Fox who is hiring him to direct “Cool School” which probably means A) They were trying to save a buck by hiring a cheap first-time director and B) Nobody good wanted to direct it.
But, what the fuck? Right…?
“Cool School” plot line is about two ad execs in their early thirties who go back to high school and learn to be cool again. Original? I think not! That’s the plot of “Old School” mashed with “Never Been Kissed” – damn why didn’t I think of that?
The brilliant (sarcasm duh!) screenplay was written by Mensa members Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman with another draft (meaning they can’t write to save their ass but someone liked the derivitative idea they had) written by proud Latino Mark Perez.
Oh, and guess what? Biggest genius in the world Michael Aguilar (formerly had a deal at Fox, used to run Richard Donner’s company and produced comedy classic “What Happens in Vegas“) is attached to produce.
