CHOKE trailer

Chuck Palahniuk (pronounced: Poo-lain-EEE-ooo-aaa-yacht-wong-flibble) wrote a book once (just once). The book was about a misanthrope who shakes loose society’s manacles of complacency via some ingenious, subversive scam that eventually slips out of his control. Oh, and there was a love interest, which resulted in a nice little love-interest type story arc that gave the book enough mainstream appeal to be developed into a movie. The book was written using short blasts of truncated English which made it easy to read, especially for short-attention-span-afflicted Gen-X and Gen-Y hipsters weaned on MTV and blogs. And it was wildly popular, especially amongst lit fans with septum piercings and tribal tattoos.
Well now Palahniuk’s book has been made into a movie (again). Last time it was called Fight Club, but this time it’s called Choke. The trailer (care of the aforementioned MTV) is linked below (because Crom forbid MTV should actually allow embedding of someone’s crappy marketing materials).
