Grand Theft Auto IV release in UK marred by stabbing
Brits are always complaining about the prevalence of gun-owners in the USA, but in the UK you got to watch your ass (arse I should say) too because of the prevalence of really sharp knives. Knives that English thugs aren’t afraid to use!
Just like what happened on Tuesday, when the notorously violent video game “Grand Theft Auto IV” released and a man was stabbed outside a qeue (a line to you Americans) of patiently waiting kids outside a shop in Croydon (a crappy part of South London.)
The 23-year-old person was one of 100 people waiting outside the shop and the victim required treatment to the stab wounds but has now left hospital.
The video game: “Grand Theft Auto IV” is anticipated to become the biggest selling entertainment title of all-time. Business experts say that the title will sell more than 6 million copies in the first week of release which smashes the previous record held by “Halo 3″
The 3 prior titles of “Grand Theft Auto” have sold 70 million copies combined and have come under fire from lame organizations for its depiction of drug dealing, prostitution and casual violence.
“Grand Theft Auto IV” is set in the United States and follows an Eastern European criminal (think Borat with a tinge of Stalin thrown in…)
