“American Idol” continues tonight and after Michael Johns departure last week, the following people are left: Brooke White, Carly Smithson, David Archuleta, David Cook, Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha Mercado remain.

Tonight is Mariah Carey night and this means that the vocal range of songs might prove very difficult for Brooke White and David Cook and will certainly favor singers like Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson.

I’m thinking that Kristy Lee Cook needs to show some more skin and the Mormon alliance that supports Archuleta and Brooke White will soon be forced to split its power as the numbers of contestants dwindle.
