Tom Cruise’s “Valkyrie” pushed to February 13, 2009

“Valkyrie” is moving dates. MGM Distribution head Clark Woods said today:
“When an opening became available for Presidents Day weekend, we seized the opportunity. Having seen a lot of the film and how great it is going to play once it’s finished, moving into a big holiday weekend is the right move.”
MGM is distributing the film for United Artists, a studio headed by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner is apparently trying to give us the message that “Valkyrie” is a big President’s Day weekend-type film. It is not. This is a mistake!
The killing hitler flick starring Tom Cruise from director Bryan Singer was supposed to release in October, 2008 (in time for Oscar consideration)
