Brimley endorses McCain
Republicans have sought the endorsements of Don Ameche and Hugh Cronyn as well, turns out they’re dead….
In what will come as a giant blow to the future Democratic party candidate, 73-year-old actor Wilford Brimley has announced that he is endorsing Republican candidate Senator John McCain in his bid for the Presidency.
The actor, and onetime bodyguard for Howard Hughes is best known for appearances in films like “Cocoon” “The Natural” and “The Firm” as well as a star in commercials for diabetes testing-supplies company Liberty Medical and commercials for Quaker Oats oatmeal.
Brimley hails from Salt Lake City, Utah (which probably makes him a Mormon) but he’s pro horse-race gambling Mormon in Utah (despite his position against cockfighting.)
