Shoplifting Chinawoman Bai Ling – best known for her magical ability to weasel her way into any photo-op-worthy party in Hollywood by pretending she’s actually famous for something – will be acting in an actual movie that will be filmed using motion picture cameras, ending a decade of speculation as to what the hell it is Bai Ling does anyway (my guess had always been “big fun happy ending surprise”). Said motion picture will be entitled “Dim Sum Funeral,” and co-stars Russell Wong, Kelly Hu, Steph Song, Lisa Lu, Francoise Yip, Chang Tseng, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Peking Duck, Orange Beef and Poo Poo Platter. Bai Ling plays a “free spirited lesbian.” In other words she’ll be portraying her MySpace page, minus the self-indulgent broken English blogs and annoying animated pixies.
“Dim Sum Funeral” is currently shooting in Vancouver, care of Chinese-American director Anna Chi, and will never be released anywhere, ever.
