Jay Z and Beyonce to Wed…
The first couple of hip-hop – rapper Jay Z and singer Beyoncé Knowles have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York according to People.com
The license – valid for the next 60 days in New York – was taken out on Tuesday. The couple (26 and 38 years old respectively have been dating since 2002)
USmagazine.com is reporting that it is likely that the wedding will occur in May after Jay-Z’s tour with Mary J. Blige is over.
Knowles is currently filming the Etta James biopic “Cadillac Records” and in December 2006, she said:
“You can’t rush a man into anything — whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children.”
