‘Transiberian’ starring Emily Mortimer and Woody Harrelson
Since premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, I’ve been concerned about the fate of “Transsiberian” which stars Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer and Ben Kingsley. Fear no more, word now comes following the Berlin Film Festival that the film will be distributed by First Look Studios from the Filmax Group and that the Avi Lerner label plans a late summer domestic release for the film.
The film also stars Kate Mara and Eduardo Noriega. It’s directed by Brad Anderson, who co-scripted with Will Conroy.
The film follows an American couple (Harrelson and Mortimer) who are chased a Siberian train journey from China to Moscow.
The film which was shot in Lithuania, Russia and Beijing is a co-production of German company Universum Films and Spanish media company Telecinco Cinema.
