Jason Castro is truly a musician. After all he plays the guitar, but also the way he handles his vocals and the song arrangements shows that this kid has got a very good chance of going all the way on this season’s “American Idol.”

The 20-year-old from Dallas, Texas with dread-locks lists singer-songwriter is Ray Lamontagne and Kirk Baxley as his influences. He has “got it” according to Simon Cowell. And I suppose he makes me less embarassed to watch the show.
