The Grand – preview
From the mind of Zak Penn comes an improv comedy about poker called “The Grand” starring an eclectic and interesting cast of familiars.
I saw this on The Movie Blog and although I’m not a poker fanatic like some of you, it looks really funny and interesting.
The Grand owes much to Christopher Guest-style mockumentaries and stars David Cross, Woody Harrelson and Cheryl Hines (HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm“) and it looks as though German director Werner Herzog’s cameo as ‘The German’ in the film is fall-out-of-your-seats hilariousness.
“The Grand” will be in limited release on March 21, 2008.
