Zombie unlikely for Conan
Contrary to the rumor spreading around the internets like HIV in the “lights out” room of an early 80’s leather bar, rock musician/horror schlockmeister Rob Zombie has NOT been chosen to direct the upcoming Conan film, according to sources close to the project (cough-CROM-cough).
Script for the upcoming Conan flick, from Nu Image/Millenium and distrib Lionsgate (aka “The Torture Porn and Tyler Perry Studio”… oh wait, I already used that gag), shall be scribed by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer of Sahara fame, pending resolution of all this strike business. The $100 Million pic’s due to shoot later this year, if Crom wills it to be so.
