Val Kilmer to voice KITT car in “Knight Rider”

Sydney Poitier with the new look KITT car which will be voiced by Kilmer
Actor Will Arnett (”Arrested Development“) was dropped from the upcoming “Knight Rider” TV show that will be airing on NBC on Sunday, February 17th at 9PM.
NBC have picked anything for a buck actor Val Kilmer to take Arnett’s place as the car’s voice.
It appears that Arnett, who is the “voice of GMC trucks” has a corporate conflict of interest (General Motors vs. Ford) in voicing KITT (Knight Industries Three Thousand) which is now a 2008 Ford Mustang.
Kilmer’s voice joins the other cast-members of the new “Knight Rider” starring Justin Bruening as ‘Mike Tracer’ Sydney Poitier (”Death Proof“) as ‘Carrie Ruval’ and Deanna Russo as ‘Sarah Graiman.’
