Name change for Keanu Reeves movie…
With only a few months before the April 11th release date, Fox Searchlight have decided to change the name to the upcoming movie “The Night Watchman“ starring Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Chris Evans, Hugh Laurie and rapper Common.
The film’s new title will be “Street Kings” and is directed by David Ayer (”Harsh Times.”) The film is based on a story by James Ellroy (”LA Confidential“) and the plot line revolves around Keanu Reeves’ character ‘Tom Ludlow’ a veteran LAPD officer who finds life difficult to navigate after his wife’s death. Evidence implicating him in the death of another officer forces him to go up against the cop culture he’s been a part of his entire career ultimately leading him to question the loyalty of everyone in his life.
