Star Studded farewell to Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger’s father Kim Ledger eulogized his son at Sony Pictures this weekend
Before heading back to Perth, Australia to lay Heath Ledger’s body to rest, his family attended a star-studded celebrity attended memorial service in Hollywood, California.
The memorial was held at Sony Pictures in Culver City, CA on Saturday with about 1,000 mourners in attendance. The guest list included Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Sienna Miller, Sean Penn, Orlando Bloom, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi and Naomi Watts.
The service included a eulogy from Ledger’s father Kim Ledger and his sister Kate as well as “I’m Not There” director Todd Haynes. Ben Harper performed at the service.
Absent from the service was baby-mama Michelle Williams and toddler daughter Matilda Ledger.
Ledger’s body was discovered in his New York apartment on January 22nd by a massage therapist with whom he had booked an appointment. An array of prescription drugs found in the room raised suspicions that his death was the result of an accidental overdose.
An initial autopsy on the body of the 28-year-old actor was inconclusive, and officials are still awaiting the return of additional test results, including a toxicology screen, in order to determine an official cause of death.
