TMZ’s sources at the UCLA Medical Center where she is being held are reporting that she has been labeled as “G.D.” — “Gravely Disabled” (or Grossly Dumb).  This means the patient is unable to take care of her basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter. Being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.  (If anyone’s seen the movie “Michael Clayton” they are probably well versed on the criteria for the state of New York to commit someone involuntarily.  Brit Brit is in Cali-yo!)

The sources have told TMZ that Britney has fallen into a “manic state” due to her bipolar disorder. Spears arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM, but wasn’t admitted until 4:15 AM because she was causing such a scene in the hospital check-in area.

At the waiting area TMZ reports that Britney accused her mother (Lynn Spears – former ‘Mother of the Year’ nominee) of sleeping with her boyfriend (which boyfriend? Adnan?)

Apparently Britney screamed, “The only reason she’s admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!”

When Brit calmed down, she talked about her kids, how much she misses them and how it’s unfair that she doesn’t have them.  Well Brit-Brit its also unfair that you are a wealthy basket-case.  Get yourself together and then we’ll see….
