Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio = Jail

The former lead singer and guitarist of the trip out to LSD and do shrooms rock band Phish spent two days in Washington County Jail last week after he was found to have violated the conditions of his participation in Washington County Drug Treatment Court. Ernest “Trey” Anastasio was in the county jail from Jan. 16 through Jan. 18 after he was sanctioned for an unspecified violation of his drug court contract.
Anastasio, a resident of Saratoga Springs and Richmond, Vt., was ordered to participate in the program by the court after pleading guilty to illegally possessing painkillers for which he didn’t have a prescription, when pulled over for a traffic violation in Whitehall on Dec. 15, 2006.
