Producer’s Guild of America announces 2007 nominations

The Producers Guild of America announced the nominees today for their top honor, the “Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award.” The winner is revealed at the PGA’s February 2, 2008 awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, CA.
The five nominated films are: “Juno“, “The Diving Bell and The Butterfly“, “There Will Be Blood“, “Michael Clayton“, and “No Country for Old Men.”
The PGA also has a “producer of the year award in animated motion pictures” and the three nominees this year are: “Ratatouille“, “Bee Movie“, and “The Simpsons Movie“.
And the “Documentary Producer of the Year Award” nominees are: “Body of War“, “Hear and Now, Pete Seeger: The Power of Song”, “Sicko“, and “White Night: Black Rain: The Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”
