Sundance Film Festival juries announced
There are six juries selecting the prizes for this years Sundance Film Festival:
Dramatic Competition Grand Jury — Marcia Gay Harden (actress), Diego Luna (actor), Sandra Oh (actress), Mary Harron (director of “American Psycho“), and Quentin Tarantino (director-writer-actor.)
Documentary Competition Grand Jury — Michelle Byrd, Heidi Ewing (”Jesus Camp“), Eugene Jarecki (”Why We Fight“) Steven Okazaki (”Rehab”) and Annie Sundberg (”The Devil Came on Horseback“)
World Dramatic Competition Jury — Shunji Iwai (Japanese director) Lucrecia Martel (Argentine director) and Jan Schuette (German director.)
World Documentary Competition Jury — Ilda Santiago, Leena Pasanen, and Amir Bar-Lev (”My Kid Could Paint That.”)
American & International Shorts Jury — Jon Bloom, Melonie Diaz, and Jason Reitman.
Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize Jury — Alan Alda (actor), Michael Polish (”Northfork“), Evan Schwartz, Benedict Schwegler, and John Underkoffler. (This prize is awarded to a film focusing on science or technology)
The awards will be announced Jan. 26 in Utah at the Park City Racquet Club.
