Pregnant Kidman out, Kate Winslet in
Since actress Nicole Kidman announced she was pregnant, producers shooting “Revolutionary Road” have subbed in actress Kate Winslet for the leading role.
Apparently Winslet was offerred the role before Kidman was, but couldn’t be in it cause of schedule conflicts (yeah right!), and when the dates changed and now Kate Winslet is back in.
The film “Revolutionary Road” is based on German author Bernhard Schlink’s bestselling 1995 novel. The film is about an affair between a teenage boy and an older woman in post-WWII Germany. (Sounds boring to me… I’d be much more interested in a teenage girl and an older man.)
