Gemma Arterton - newest Bond girl
Marc Forster (”The Kite Runner” “Monster’s Ball“) is currently directing the 22nd ‘James Bond’ film and it might be more arty than previous Bond films.
Not much is known about the project currently, but we do know that recent Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts graduate Gemma Arterton is one of the ‘Bond girls’ for the film.
After making her stage debut as ‘Rosaline’ in Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost” in the Shakespeare’s Globe theater, Ms. Arterton has been prolific in picking up film and TV projects. Currently shooting 3 films including a British comedy called “3 and Out” and playing ‘Elizabeth Bennett’ in a British TV movie called “Lost in Austen.”
According to the UK Daily Mail, Gemma and her sister, a singer both come from a working class family. Apparently her father is a welder and her mother a house cleaner.
The 22nd James Bond movie is set to release November 7, 2008
