Stop Loss (March 28): You have not described the story, because there is just one soldier who doesn’t want to return to Iraq, and it’s not because he’s against the war… This is about the life experiences of the troops we keep saying we support as we send them into such a nightmarish world, and we should honor them by stepping into that world, take 90 minutes off from shopping, clubbing, consuming ourselves into oblivious ignorance of their real situation.

I’d gladly step into their world if it meant firing rocket launchers at some Iraqi babies. If someone figures outs a way I can do that for 90 minutes, sign me up.
