Rambo IV (January 25, 2008)
Its almost a miracle, but I think Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson and Sylvester Stallone have hit the pay-dirt by choosing Lionsgate as the domestic distributor for the latest incarnation of RAMBO (Sony will release in UK and Australia, Gaga Film in Japan, etc.) The North American release date for the film is January 25, 2008.
The Lionsgate marketing team seem to be doing a great job as exemplified by this kick-ass website for the movie which they partnered with Break.com to provide.
We’ve been seeing these grafitti inspired, Banksy inspired postes for the film everywhere on the streets of Los Angeles and I think they really give the film the right “edge” to encourage a younger audience to see this film.

This Rambo (IV) finds John Rambo (Stallone) in Thailand where he assembles a group of mercenaries and leads them up the Salween River to a Burmese village where a group of Christian aid workers allegedly went missing. The film co-stars Julie Benz as “Sarah”
