WGA Strike Day #2: An Internet Age Guide to Striking
Thanks to our many friends, we recieved several interesting emails today informing us about key resources for Strike-Watchers everwhere:
1) Check out United Hollywood – a blog dedicated to providing information for those people who are striking and in support of the WGA strike. The subline to the website states “We Are All In This Together” Contributors to this website include people with names such as Kate Purdy, John Aboud, David Latt, Laeta Kalgoridis and Daniel Thomsen.
2) – Daily Variety magazine was so kind enough to create its own blog-page dedicated to the strike called “Scribe Vibe” and it has all sorts of goodies ready to satisfy the Strike-News-Hungry entertainment community that is subscribed to its magazine and hooked on its news-web-site.
3) Writers Guild of America Website which shows you what’s cool and what’s not and what the correct shade of “Red” T-shirt that your pro-strike loving commie Starbucks drinking writer ought to be wearing on the picket line!
4) Speaking of anti-McCarthyists – Nikki Finke is all about this Strike. It’s like she took it to the people with her grass-roots reporting on this thing and people are looking to Deadline Hollywood around town to get the inside gossip on how long this Strike will last.
5) Here’s just another blog called Wanna Be a TV Writer from a writer person that is going on-and-on about the strike. Ho hum, have I bored you already?
