WANTED – June 27, 2008
Angelina Jolie shoots baddies on her back on a Dodge Viper. Hot!
Just saw a kickass trailer for the Spyglass/Universal movie WANTED (click here) . It stars James McAvoy (Last King of Scotland), Angelina Jolie emodying her “Mrs. Smith” persona with a bit more eyeshadow and Morgan Freeman (who also brilliantly narrates the trailer.)
“Wanted” is directed by Russian (actually he’s from Borat’s homeland of Kazakhstan) Timur Bekmambetov who came up with the innovative yet plot-less “Night Watch” for Fox Searchlight (followed by less noteworthy movies “Day Watch” and “Twilight Watch”) which broke Russian box office records in his homeland.
Looks pretty kick ass. Can’t wait.

Universal are contemplating a move to Summer 2008 after the $94 million budgeted film performed well in early test screenings
