Owen Wilson Leaves Cedars Sinai Hospital
Actor Owen Wilson was released from the hospital today and returned to his Santa Monica house for the first time since he tried to kill himself there last weekend.
Up until now, Owen was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills following his overdose last Sunday. His family and particularly his brothers Andrew and Luke Wilson, have been with him consistently from that time forward.
An insider told People magazine:
“Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive.”
“He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself.”
“He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7.”
Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman aka Jane Seymour issued this public statement with regard to her Wedding Crashers co-star on Entertainment Tonight:
“I don’t know what happened, but I know he’s a great guy and this too shall pass.”
“He has a great family and people who love him. He’ll be okay.”
