Owen not to appear in upcoming Stiller movie Tropic Thunder
For obvious reasons, the 38 year old Owen Wilson has been let off the hook with regard to appearing in the Ben Stiller comedy Tropic Thunder currently lensing in Hawaii. Wilson was supposed to work a week in that movie, but on Monday his brief statement indicating that he was going through a “difficult time” so that he could “receive care and heal”
Owen is also supposed to appear in the Fox 2000 comedy with Jennifer Aniston called Marley & Me. But there is no production start date set for that film.
Wilson’s next film, The Darjeeling Limited by Texas buddy Wes Anderson is set to release on September 29th and it is unknown but unlikely that Wilson will make it to the September 3rd world premiere of the film at the Venice Film Festival. The releasing studio- Fox Searchlight had no information to reveal.
