Owen Wilson, one half of the Brothers Wilson is in a Beverly Hospital as reports swirl around town that the more talented and funny of the two acting brothers has attempted to commit suicide by slicing his wrists.

Due to medical privacy laws, the police were not able to issue more information than what TMZ.com has been able to break. But we have gathered thus far is that Owen Wilson was found at his Santa Monica home after taking an indeterminate amount of pills and is currently in a Beverly Hills hospital where his parents and brothers Andrew and actor brother Luke Wilson (My Super Ex Girlfriend) were also seen.

If this has anything to do with actress Kate Hudson’s emerging affair with actor Dax Shepard this would be tragic as this tabloid nonsense should never be the reason for the demise of any person be he famous or not. Recently Wilson was cited as one of the factors in the demise of Kate Hudson’s marriage to rocker Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes subsequent to her acting role with Wilson in the comedy You, Me and Dupree.

Here at BOPsy headquarters we are surprised that of the two Wilson brothers that Owen would be the suicidal one, regardless we are all holding a candlie-light vigil for Wilson and hoping for the best for him.
