Nerds Win Spock is In
Big news from Comic-Con 2007 in San Diego is that Leonard Nimoy will appear as Dr. Spock in the next STAR TREK film to be directed by super-hero JJ Abrams. (Dorks cheer Everywhere!)
Nimoy appeared alongside Zachary Quinto - the actor will be playing the “Young” Spock alongside his older, wacked out future-person Nimoy. Quinto as you may not remember was in pretty much nothing (unless you count a few episodes of HEROES on NBC 24 on FOX and 24 “The Game” on my Playstation 3 suckas!)
And according to IMDB Quinto was won the “Gene Kelly” award after graduating Carnegie Mellon for his performance in the Pirates of Penzance. So perhaps he and Nimoy have a lot more in common than I had first thought?
