Paulsen to Script Babysitting Remake
Scribe Tiffany Paulsen has been picked by Der Mäus to pen Lynda Obst’s rehash of her one film of note, ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING. Paulsen’s previous credits include NANCY DREW (which Warner will release June 15), and being the girl Jason killed with a speargun in 1989’s FRIDAY THE 13TH VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN. Her name is Tiffany Paulsen. Her NAME is Tiffany Paulsen. Remake will star Raven Symone — who’s apparently as popular with pre-teen girls as my patented “roofie fudge-squares” – and will inevitably suck.
No word whether mutli-talented thespian/squirrel-attack afficianado Keith Coogan will make a return appearance — perhaps in a cameo as the creepy tow truck driver — but we’re all praying to our Magic Jesus Nightlights that such a thing could be, as it should be.

oh jesus. oh holy art though baby jesus - please give Keith Coogan some sort of role in the new ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING starring the incomporable Raven Simone. Give him a cameo as the sleazy squirrell hunting mechanic she meets in the backwoods.
