Fox Gives Shamalamadingdong The Greenlight

According to Variety, M. Night Shampoohorn will direct THE HAPPENING for The House That Rupert Bought in his native Philly this summer. THE HAPPENING is a dark supernatural thriller about an ecological disaster threatening to destroy the planet. This planet. Earth. Rumor has it there’ll be a shocking twist ending that no one will see coming from a mile away.
This marks the second studio Brian McKnight Shamrockshake has worked for since his falling out with Disney over LADY IN THE WATER. Warner Bros. released the aforementioned box office failure, but with his latest thriller Michael Knight Shwärmääfläärpin decided to shop the spec script on the open market. Despite several other offers, Fox honcho Tim Rothman’s enthusiasm and the studio’s expertise with natural-disaster type flicks made Fox Shazzbotnipplefragglewompin’s first choice. Flick will be R rated and a “major” male lead is rumored to be a pen’s swoop away from joining the cast. Let it be Matt Damon. PLEASE let it be Matt Damon.

M. Night Shymalan is the antichrist. Please lord make him stop making movies. Rupert- Why? We trusted that you would have some sense and I can’t believe you gave this guy a production deal at Fox after Disney wisely dumped him.
